Computer Basics and Microsoft Suite

  • Computer Basics is a six-week course designed to introduce and familiarize students with computers. It complements our Microsft Suite class, where students learn the ins and outs of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Lego Robotics & 3D Printing

  • This LEGO Robotics class is perfect for 9 to 13-year-olds interested in learning about robotics and engineering! Students will explore the world of robotics and engineering by building and programming LEGO robots. Through hands-on activities and challenges, students will develop their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. By the end of the class, students will better understand robotics and engineering and will have created their own LEGO robots!

Pima County One-Stop

  • Ana Camarillo, our Pima County Community Resource Coordinator is able to connect you with housing assistance, jobs, training opportunities, possible scholarships, reentry support and more.

Financial Literacy

VITA Free Tax PRep

  • Through United Way of Southern Arizona, we offer a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site for individuals and families earning up to $89,000 annually.

Community Health Workers- Pima County Health Department

  • Community Health Workers create engagement with the community to promote wellness, connect them with health resources, and address social determents of health. Saguaro Food Truck Academy

  • At the Sahuarita Food Bank, we are passionate about Workforce Development and helping members of our community develop the skills necessary to get them into high(er) paying careers. The Saguaro Food Truck Academy is one of those programs designed to turn people into business owners!

    This food truck acts as a mobile classroom where aspiring entrepreneurs learn the ropes of the food business. Every delicious meal you enjoy helps fuel someone's journey to success! Our student chefs are cooking up amazing food while building the skills and savings they need to launch their own food truck empires.

    So dig in and feel good about it – your lunch is helping create the next generation of local food entrepreneurs. Plus, you get to discover exciting new flavors as our rotating team of future food truck owners showcase their signature dishes!

    Our aim is quality outcomes, not quantity of outputs. Through this program, we hope to get at least 2 new businesses in the community per year.
