SHARING ABUNDANCE--

eNDING hUNGER nOW!

Individuals

The Sahuarita Food Bank’s Annual Matching Campaign raised $25,428.60 from individual donors! These funds will help purchase emergency food: milk, eggs, and protein for our hungry clients. They also will support the continued operations of the Sahuarita Food Bank: contract bookkeeper, utilities, facility use, maintenance of equipment, gas for the van and so forth. The Food Bank is able to continue operating, thanks to this generosity. We are grateful to each and every one of our donors.

Foundations, Contracts with Governments, and Businesses

The programs and infrastructure of the Food Bank depend on funding from the following organizations. Their funding in just the last two years has supported the purchase of two 12" by 24" climate-controlled storage units, a solar power system for the coolers, a van, and food handling equipment. They have supported the continued growth of the BackPack program to nearly 200 students with growth of another 50 anticipated in the next fiscal year. They also contribute significantly toward the purchase of emergency food. Again, without these grants and contracts, we could not reduce hunger in Pima County. Thanks to each of these organizations:
